Applying for a Conference Grant
APRA-MD offers a grant of a maximum of $350 toward the cost of registration for one person to
attend the APRA International annual conference OR the Mid-Atlantic Research
Conference (MARC). The grant is to be applied toward registration costs, not accommodations or travel costs; if the
registration costs are less than $350, the grant will be equal to the registration costs. The grant check will be made
payable to the organization holding the conference (i.e. APRA or MARC), not the individual attending the conference.
Eligibility:
A candidate must be an APRA or APRA-MD member. Preference is given to candidates who have never before attended an
APRA international conference or the MARC conference.

- Write a minimum of one (1) paragraph on why attending the conference is important to you and what you hope to gain from the experience.
