Applying for a Conference Grant

APRA-MD offers a grant of a maximum of $350 toward the cost of registration for one person to attend the APRA International annual conference OR the Mid-Atlantic Research Conference (MARC). The grant is to be applied toward registration costs, not accommodations or travel costs; if the registration costs are less than $350, the grant will be equal to the registration costs. The grant check will be made payable to the organization holding the conference (i.e. APRA or MARC), not the individual attending the conference.

Eligibility:

A candidate must be an APRA or APRA-MD member. Preference is given to candidates who have never before attended an APRA international conference or the MARC conference.

To apply:

Send application materials to:
APRA-MD Grant

If you are unable to attend the conference, this grant must be refunded to APRA-MD within 30 days following the conference.

A maximum of two grants per year will be awarded. Submission of application materials is not a guarantee of receiving the grant. Selection of the person to receive grant will be made by the APRA-MD Board of Officers. The deadline for submitting the application is April 1.
